We are seeking a Senior Front-end Web Developer B. to join a fast-paced team building highly scalable web-based eCommerce applications. This role focuses on delivering robust, performant front-end experiences using React, Next.js, strong HTML\/CSS, Browser APIs and modern JavaScript (ES6), while collaborating across development, operations and product teams.
You will work in a distributed, cloud-based environment leveraging AWS services and work end-to-end from design and implementation through release management and production troubleshooting. The position is well-suited for engineers with a DevOps mindset who enjoy solving problems, driving releases, and improving delivery quality, and who can operate with a strong ownership mindset and limited day-to-day supervision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Responsibilities<\/mark><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

  • Design and implement responsive, accessible front-end features using React, HTML, CSS and Browser APIs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Develop client-side logic and integrations using modern JavaScript (ES6) and Node.js where required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Build and maintain components and pages for scalable web-based eCommerce applications.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Collaborate with backend, QA and product teams to break down stories into technical tasks and plan sprints.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Participate actively in scrum ceremonies and engage in technical discussions with curiosity and clarity.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Conduct and participate in regular code reviews to ensure code quality, performance and standards adherence.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Manage and execute release processes to ensure smooth, controlled deployments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Troubleshoot production issues, follow code through production operation, and resolve post-release problems.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Implement and optimize CDN and caching strategies to improve performance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Work within a distributed cloud environment using AWS services and related infrastructure.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Solve problems and deliver results in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Requirements<\/mark><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
      \n
    • 5+ years of software engineering experience, with strong senior-level front-end development experience.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Proficient with React and Next.js<\/strong>, and in-depth knowledge of HTML, CSS and Browser APIs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Excellent knowledge of JavaScript (ES6) and Node.js.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Experience working in a distributed cloud-based environment with AWS technologies such as S3, ECS, EC2, Lambda, ALB, Route53 and CloudFormation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Prior experience designing and implementing highly scalable web-based eCommerce applications.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Experience with CDN and caching technologies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • DevOps mentality with practical experience in CD\/CI and following code through production operation and troubleshooting releases.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Track record of solving problems and delivering results in a fast-evolving environment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Hands-on experience working in an AI-native development environment, proactively leveraging AI-assisted development tools as part of the software development lifecycle.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Familiarity with Spec-Driven Development, including the ability to work from clear technical specifications and translate requirements into production-ready implementations.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Strong ownership mindset and demonstrated ability to operate as a self-starter with limited day-to-day supervision.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present complex ideas and influence stakeholders, with particular emphasis on clear, proactive asynchronous communication within distributed teams.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Experience participating in sprint planning, technical design breakdowns, and scrum ceremonies.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Courage and curiosity to verbally engage within team settings during Scrum ceremonies.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Experience participating in regular code reviews and ensuring code quality, performance, and adherence to coding standards.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Experience managing software releases and ensuring smooth and controlled deployments.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
