Ledgebrook is an InsurTech MGA modernizing Specialty insurance with world-class technology and deep industry expertise. We are hiring a Workday Financial Functional Solution Architect (tech lead) to own functional design and configuration of Workday Financial modules and partner closely with finance stakeholders to deliver end-to-end financial processes.
This role is fully remote and focused on hands-on functional Workday Financials work\u2014gathering requirements, configuring business processes, supporting testing and deployment, and providing post-go-live support\u2014without responsibility for integrations or technical development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Responsibilities<\/mark><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
    \n
  • Lead functional configuration of Workday Financial modules.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Gather, analyze, and translate finance stakeholder requirements into Workday designs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Design and implement end-to-end financial business processes in Workday.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Build and maintain Workday business process configurations and functional design documentation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Develop and validate Workday reports (Basic & Advanced) to meet finance reporting needs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Plan and support UAT, testing, and production deployment activities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Provide post-go-live support, troubleshooting, and system enhancements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Partner with finance teams to identify process improvements and ensure compliance with financial policies and reporting standards.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Communicate status, risks, and recommendations to project leadership and finance stakeholders.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Requirements<\/mark><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
      \n
    • Strong hands-on experience with Workday Financials.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Demonstrated experience configuring business processes and functional designs in Workday Financial modules.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Functional expertise in one or more of: Banking and Settlement, Budgets, Business Asset Accounting, Business Asset Tracking, Cash Management, Common Financial Management, Financial Accounting, Miscellaneous Payments, Organizations and Roles, Supplier Accounts, Suppliers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Solid knowledge of finance operations and accounting principles (GAAP\/IFRS).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Experience creating and working with Workday Basic & Advanced reports.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Proven ability to work closely with business users and stakeholders and translate requirements into system solutions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Experience supporting UAT, testing, and production deployments and providing post-go-live support.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      • Workday Financials functional certification.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Experience in end-to-end Workday implementation or support projects.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
