This role will design and implement data pipelines, storage, and Snowflake AI components to meet the project&#8217;s data integration and analytics needs.<br>This position emphasizes senior-level data engineering delivery (not application development), ownership of data mart, data warehouse, and data lake design, and the ability to produce initial architecture drafts independently for architectural review. The delivery model is optimized for nearshore cost efficiency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-light-green-cyan-color\">Responsibilities<\/mark><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u25cf Design AWS data engineering components including Lambda, S3, and database integrations.<br>\u25cf Build and operate data pipelines that integrate AWS systems with Snowflake.<br>\u25cf Implement Snowflake features including Snowflake AI components (Cortex, Cortex Code, AI functions).<br>\u25cf Own design and implementation of data marts, data warehouses, and data lakes.<br>\u25cf Develop data models and define process flows for end-to-end data integration.<br>\u25cf Produce initial architecture drafts independently for review by the architecture team.<br>\u25cf Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to refine designs and ensure alignment with project goals.<br>\u25cf Focus on senior-level delivery of data engineering solutions and handoff to operational<br>teams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-light-green-cyan-color\">Requirements<\/mark><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u25cf 6-9 years of hands-on experience in data engineering.<br>\u25cf Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda.<br>\u25cf Hands-on experience with AWS S3.<br>\u25cf Hands-on experience with databases and related AWS services.<br>\u25cf Hands-on experience with Snowflake, including Snowflake AI components (Cortex, Cortex Code, AI functions).<br>\u25cf Strong fundamentals in data marts, data warehouses, data lake design, data modeling, and process flow.<br>\u25cf Proven ability to produce initial architecture drafts independently for architectural review.<br>\u25cf Profile scope: senior-level data engineering experience (not application\/app development).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Summary We are seeking a senior AWS Data Engineer to join a data engineering project focused on building and operating AWS-based data solutions and Snowflake-centric data platforms.
